Sign-in and devices

How long you stay signed in, the signed-in devices list, signing a device out and what the option to skip the code does.

You sign in once per device. Festivio keeps you signed in for as long as you use it.

How long you stay signed in

WhereYou stay signed in if you use it at leastLimit
The website, in a browseronce every 30 daysafter 180 days you sign in again
The Festivio app on iPhone or Androidonce every 90 daysnone

A missing or slow connection does not sign you out: when the network is back, you carry on where you were.

Sign out, in your account menu, signs out only the device you are using.

Signed-in devices

Open My account, then Security. Signed-in devices lists every device your account is signed in on, for example Chrome on Mac or iPhone · Festivio app.

For each device you see:

  • when it was last used;
  • how and when it signed in, for example Signed in with a password on Sep 30.

The one you are using is marked This device. With more than five devices, Show all opens the full list.

Sign a device out

  1. Press Sign out next to the device.
  2. Press Sign out followed by the device name.

The device is signed out within a minute. Using it again needs a new sign-in.

Sign out of all other devices signs out every device except the one you are using. Each of them will need a new sign-in, including the verification code if two-factor authentication is on.

When Festivio signs your other devices out

What you doWhat happens
Change or set your passwordEvery other device is signed out. The one you are using stays signed in.
Turn two-factor authentication on or offEvery other device is signed out, and no device skips the code any more.
Remove a passkeyEvery other device is signed out.
Reset your password with Forgot your password?Every device is signed out, including the one you are using.

Don't ask for a code on this device

With two-factor authentication on, the code step has a box Don’t ask for a code on this device for 30 days, already ticked.

For 30 days, in that browser or in the app on that phone, no code is asked for after your password, Google or Apple. The 30 days do not renew: when they end, the code is asked for again.

The device asks for the code again before the 30 days are up if you:

  • press Sign out of all other devices;
  • reset your password with Forgot your password?;
  • turn two-factor authentication on or off, or change its method.

On a computer other people use too, anyone who knows your password could sign in from that browser without the code.

The new sign-in email

When you sign in on a device you haven't used before, Festivio emails you New sign-in to your Festivio account with the device, the date and time, and a See signed-in devices button.

Signing out and back in on a phone or browser you already use sends nothing. On a computer, each browser counts as its own device, and so does a browser after you clear its cookies.

It is also not sent for the first sign-in of a new account, or for a sign-in from a device you chose not to be asked for the code on.

If it was not you, sign that device out from Signed-in devices and change your password.
