Team and roles

Choose each person's role, change it or remove access, switch between organizations and create a new one.

Everyone signs in with their own account.

The team page is under Settings, then Team. Every member can see it, but only Owners can change it.

Roles

RoleWhat they can do
OwnerEverything, including payouts, invoicing, the organizer terms and the team.
ManagerRuns events: tickets, orders and refunds, staff, promotions and support. No payouts, invoicing or team.
FinanceOrders, refunds, receipts, invoicing details and reports. Cannot change events.
ViewerSees events and reports. Cannot change anything or see buyers' details.

Each person sees only the menu items and buttons their role can use. Your role is shown at the top left, under the organization's name.

Whoever creates an organization becomes its Owner. To invite someone, see Team invitations.

Change a role, remove, leave

  • Change a role from the menu next to the name on the Team page.
  • Remove from team ends access straight away. Orders and events the person worked on stay as they are.
  • Leave, in the menu next to your own name, takes you out of the organization. Coming back takes a new invitation.

Only Owners change roles and remove people. Anyone can leave an organization.

When the change concerns an Owner, including inviting a new Owner or making someone Owner, Festivio asks you to confirm it is you, with your password or an emailed code. An organization always has at least one Owner: the last Owner must make someone else Owner before leaving or changing role.

Several organizations

One account can belong to several organizations, with a different role in each. For example, you can be Owner of your own association and Manager for the town's pro loco.

Every page address includes the organization, for example /organizer/pro-loco/.... A shared link always opens the right organization. If you open a link to an organization you are not part of, You are not part of this organization appears, with the buttons Your organizations, Create an organization and Back to Festivio.

Switch between organizations

When you belong to two or more organizations, the name at the top left of the side menu opens a menu.

  1. Press the organization's name at the top left.
  2. Under Your organizations each one is listed with your role. The current one has a tick.
  3. Choose the organization you want to work in.

If you were on a settings or support page, you stay on the same page in the other organization. Otherwise its start page opens, because each event belongs to a single organization.

The last organization used

Festivio remembers on this device the last organization you used. When you choose Organizer dashboard from your account menu, that one opens. On another phone or computer, or in a private browsing window, Festivio does not remember it.

If there is no last organization, the Choose an organization page opens, listing your organizations and your role in each.

To get back to that list, open the menu at the top left and choose All organizations. Festivio forgets the last organization used until you pick one again.

Create another organization

An event always belongs to one organization. If you run events for another association or business, create a separate organization for it.

  1. Open the menu at the top left, or the Choose an organization page, and press Create an organization.
  2. Fill in Organizer name, choose Private individual or Organization, enter the City and press Create organization.
  3. Create the first event, or press Skip for now and open the dashboard.

The menu at the top left opens only when you belong to two or more organizations. If you have just one, Create another organization is at the bottom of Settings.

The new organization starts from scratch: it has its own Stripe connection, its own invoicing details, its own acceptance of the terms and its own Festivio review. See Getting started.

One account can create at most 3 organizations a day.
