Items and tickets

Everything you sell for an event is an item. Items are managed on the Item Management page.

To open it, open the event and choose Items in the side menu. From the event editor you can also use Open Items Manager on the Commerce tab.

Add an itemCopy Anchor Link

1. Press Add Item.
2. Choose the Item Type: Ticket, Consumable or Food.
3. Fill in Item Name and Price.
4. In Quantity, enter how many you want to sell. Leave it empty for an unlimited quantity.
5. In Max Items Per Order, you can limit how many one customer buys in a single order. Leave it empty to use the event's limit.
6. Tickets only: if needed, set Sale Start Date and Sale End Date.
7. Visible and On sale are on by default. Turn off Visible to prepare the item without showing it yet.
8. If the item needs a VAT rate other than your organization's default, pick it in VAT Rate Code.
9. Optionally, add Additional Details (one per line).
10. Press Create Item.

The Edit Item page has the same fields.

Secret itemsCopy Anchor Link

Turn on Secret item to hide the item from the event page. Customers see it only after entering the Unlock Code you choose.

Add a bundleCopy Anchor Link

1. Press Add Bundle.
2. Fill in Bundle Name and Bundle Price.
3. If needed, set Quantity (optional), Sale Start Date and Sale End Date.
4. Under Contained Items, pick an item with Select an item and enter how many the bundle includes.
5. Press Add Item to include more items.
6. Press Create Bundle.

A bundle needs a price and at least one contained item.

A bundle cannot be sold while one of its contained items is sold out. If the contained items cannot cover one bundle, Festivio does not save the bundle and lists the items that fall short.

Edit, hide and reorderCopy Anchor Link

In the Items list, items are grouped into Tickets, Bundles, Consumables and Food.

• Visible controls whether the item appears on the event page.
• Purchasable controls whether the item can be bought.
• The arrows move the item up or down within its group.
• The Edit icon opens the Edit Item page.
• The Delete icon removes the item after a confirmation.

Switches and order changes are not saved straight away. The number of pending changes appears at the bottom. Press Save to keep them or Discard to drop them.

AvailabilityCopy Anchor Link

For each item the list shows Sold out of the total and Sellable now. Items that are being paid for at that moment show as in checkout.

On the event's Commerce tab, Low-stock warning shows "Only N left" on the event page once the remaining quantity reaches the threshold you set.

Inventory poolsCopy Anchor Link

A pool gives several items one shared quantity cap. For example, three kinds of panino that share 200 pieces.

1. In the Inventory Pools box, press New Pool.
2. Enter the pool name and the total quantity. Leave the quantity empty for no cap.
3. Confirm with the tick.
4. Create or edit an item and choose the pool under Inventory Pool.

When the pool runs out, none of the items that use it can be sold.
