Orders

Find an order, export the list, resend the tickets and change the customer's email.

Orders, in the event's side menu, lists every order of the event: online, at the cash desk and at the door. It opens on completed orders, newest first.

Find an order

  • Under Status, Type and Source, choose which orders to see. All removes the filter.
  • In the search box, type the buyer's email, an attendee's name or the order code. The code is the one in the confirmation email, with or without #. The end of the Order ID works too, from six characters.
  • Min amount, Max amount, From and To narrow the list by amount and date.
  • Tap a column title to sort the list by it. Tap it again to reverse the order.
  • Tap a row to open the order.

The filters stay in the page's address. Going back from an order brings back the list as you left it, and you can send the link to someone you work with.

The order code is the last eight characters of the Order ID. Older emails carry the first eight instead: the search finds those too, but two orders placed within the same minute can share one. If the search finds more than one, check the email, or search with the end of the Order ID, shown on the order page.

When no order matches the filters, the list says so and offers Clear filters.

Export the list

  1. Set the filters and the sort you need.
  2. Press Export CSV.

The file holds every order of the filtered list, not only the page on screen, in the same order. There is one row per order: code, order ID, date and time in the event's time zone, customer email, attendees, status, payment source, PR list, items, subtotal, discount, table credit, service fee, total, refunded and currency.

The file follows the dashboard's language. In English it uses commas between columns and a point for decimals. Amounts are plain numbers with no currency sign, so you can add them up.

Test orders are never in the file. Exporting is for the roles that see orders (Owner, Manager, Finance).

Resend the tickets

When a customer cannot find the email with the tickets:

  1. Open the order.
  2. Press Resend tickets.

Tickets sent to appears with the order's address. The customer gets the order confirmation with the tickets again. The resend is recorded in the Order history.

The button shows only for completed orders that have an email address. An order taken at the cash desk without an email has none: use Change email.

Change the customer's email

When the customer gave the wrong address:

  1. Open the order.
  2. Press Change email.
  3. In New email address, type the right address.
  4. Press Change email.

The tickets move to the new address, which gets the order confirmation with the tickets. If the new address has no account yet, one is created. The change is recorded in the Order history, with the old and the new address.

Resending tickets and changing the email are for the Owner and Managers.
